This summer I had the opportunity to drive through the Sand Hills of Nebraska. It is one of my favorite drives - long roads, rolling hills, and wide open spaces. On this particular day I drive through a rain storm. I was struck by the amazing filtered light just beyond the wind mill. It was filtered because of the sheets of rain falling between me and the hills lit by this beautiful light. It was such a wonderful reminder of the storms we may experience in our lives. And if we can look beyond the storm, there is beautiful light.
